Formation of Contract

When a booking becomes legally binding.

›

A service request or payment submitted by the client constitutes a binding offer to enter into a contract.

A binding contract is concluded only upon written acceptance by HereGreece!, either by confirmation sent by email or by the issuance of an invoice following a service request submitted via the booking form.

For consultation services, a contract is concluded upon successful payment and confirmation of the booked time slot. Where consultations are booked automatically online, the contract is formed upon automated confirmation; otherwise, the contract is formed upon written confirmation or issuance of an invoice.

HereGreece! reserves the right to decline a service request, in particular in cases of conflicts of interest, incomplete or missing documentation, or lack of availability.

Prices and Payment

How our fees and payments work.

›

All fees are fixed, transparent, and published on the HereGreece! website in euros (€).

Unless otherwise stated, prices include German VAT at the applicable rate (currently 19%) for consumers.
For business clients or EU VAT-registered clients, the reverse-charge mechanism applies where legally eligible.

Payment is required in advance and is due as follows:

  • Contract Review and All-Inclusive Legal Buyer Package:
Payment by bank transfer or credit card (when possible) following issuance of an invoice.
  • Consultation Services:
Payment is made directly online via Stripe at the time of booking, where available; otherwise, payment is due upon invoice.

An invoice is issued manually or automatically once the service has been confirmed or a booking has been completed.

Client Responsibilities

What we need from you to deliver our service.

›

Client Obligations and Cooperation

Clients are required to provide, in a timely manner:

  • complete and accurate personal, identification, and property-related information;
  • all required identification and compliance documentation (including KYC documentation); and
  • prompt responses to any reasonable requests for information or clarification.

Any additional documents required for the performance of the agreed services will be clearly communicated by the law firm.

Delays or limitations in the provision of services resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information or missing documents are not the responsibility of HereGreece! and may affect agreed delivery timelines.

Delivery Timelines

Indicative turnaround times and factors affecting service delivery.

›

Delivery Timelines

The following delivery timelines apply, subject to timely payment and receipt of complete and accurate documentation from the client:

  • In-Depth Property Consultation
Delivery within 10 days. Clients may book a preferred time slot with at least one week’s prior notice, subject to availability.
  • Fast-Track Contract Review
Completion within 48 to 72 hours from receipt of full documentation and payment.
  • All-Inclusive Legal Buyer Package
Delivery timelines depend on the complexity and specifics of the individual transaction. Clients are informed of expected timelines on a case-by-case basis.

Any timelines, turnaround times, or delivery periods indicated on this website are indicative only and are based on standard cases and the assumption of timely client cooperation. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the complexity of the matter, the responsiveness of third parties or public authorities, the completeness of the information and documents provided by the client, and other factors beyond the control of HereGreece!. HereGreece! is not liable for delays caused by third parties, including but not limited to notaries, land registries, public authorities, banks, or other external institutions.

Data Retention and Security

Retention periods and criteria for the storage and deletion of personal data.

›

Personal data is retained by HereGreece! only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including the provision of legal services, compliance with contractual obligations, and the fulfilment of applicable legal, professional, and regulatory retention requirements. Where statutory retention obligations apply—such as those arising under tax, commercial, or professional regulations—personal data is retained for the duration required by law.

Once the applicable retention periods have expired and the data is no longer required for the performance of services or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, the data is securely deleted or anonymised. Further information on data retention periods and data subject rights is available in our Privacy Policy.

›

Data Security and Technical Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, including in particular:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all website communications;
  • password-protected systems with restricted and role-based access; and
  • regular security updates and data backups.

These measures are implemented in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

Right of Withdrawal

Your rights to cancel and when they no longer apply.

›

Consumers within the European Union have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for contracts concluded online or at a distance.

This right of withdrawal expires once the service has begun, provided that the consumer has given explicit consent for the service to start before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance begins.

For online consultation services, clients are required to confirm the following declaration during the booking process:

“I request the immediate start of the service and acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once the service begins.”

If a withdrawal is exercised before the service has started, any payments made will be refunded in full.

Liability and Professional Responsibility

Limits of our legal responsibility.

›

HereGreece! performs all services with due professional care and under the supervision of qualified and licensed lawyers.

Liability for ordinary negligence is limited to the amount of the fee paid for the respective service. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, nor in cases involving injury to life, body, or health.

The above limitation of liability does not affect any mandatory statutory liability applicable to lawyers under German law.

HereGreece! maintains professional indemnity insurance that complies with the requirements of § 51 of the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO).

Involvement of Third Parties

When and how we work with other professionals.

›

For the purpose of completing real estate transactions in Greece, HereGreece! may cooperate with, instruct, or transmit necessary client information to the following third parties, where required for the performance of the agreed services:

  • Greek notaries;
  • locally admitted lawyers or legal professionals;
  • public authorities, including in particular land registries, cadastral offices, tax authorities, and other competent administrative bodies;
  • banks or payment institutions, where required for transaction-related procedures.

Such cooperation and data transmission occur only to the extent necessary for service delivery and in accordance with applicable data protection and confidentiality obligations.

HereGreece! remains the principal contractual partner of the client and the primary point of contact for all services provided, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

Ownership and use of the materials we deliver.

›

All written opinions, checklists, reports, and other work products are prepared exclusively for the contracting client.

These materials remain the intellectual property of HereGreece!. The client is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials solely for private purposes in connection with the relevant property transaction.

Clients may share such materials only with third parties directly involved in the transaction (such as notaries, agents, or financing institutions), and solely to the extent necessary to complete the transaction. Any further use, reproduction, or disclosure is not permitted without prior written consent.

Both HereGreece! and the client undertake to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all non-public information exchanged in the course of the engagement, subject to mandatory legal or regulatory disclosure obligations.

Force Majeure

What happens if events beyond our control affect delivery.

›

HereGreece! is not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure). Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, strikes or labour disputes, governmental measures or restrictions, failures of telecommunications or IT systems, power outages, and delays or actions by public authorities.

During the occurrence of a force majeure event, performance obligations are suspended for the duration of the event, provided that the affected party informs the other party without undue delay.

Website Use and Content

Rules for using our website.

›

The HereGreece! website and all content published on it, including texts, images, graphics, and other materials, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Visitors may use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms & Conditions. Any misuse of the website is prohibited, including in particular:

  • automated data extraction or scraping,
  • unauthorised copying or reproduction of content, and
  • any commercial use without prior written consent.

This website may contain links to external third-party websites provided for convenience and informational purposes only. HereGreece! has no control over the content of such external websites and assumes no responsibility or liability for their content, availability, or accuracy.

Consumer Dispute Resolution

Which law applies and where disputes are resolved.

›

Under European consumer protection law, businesses that offer services online are required to inform clients about the existence of the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. The platform was created by the European Commission to give consumers an out-of-court option to resolve disputes arising from online contracts.

This is a mandatory disclosure, which is why it appears in our imprint.

The ODR platform is an online portal where consumers can submit complaints and attempt to resolve disputes with service providers without going to court. Participation in such dispute resolution procedures is voluntary for many professions and depends on national law and professional rules.

As a law firm, we provide regulated legal services that are subject to:

  • strict professional and ethical rules,
  • confidentiality obligations, and
  • mandatory professional liability insurance.

Disputes relating to legal services are already governed by clear legal remedies, including court proceedings and professional oversight by the competent bar associations. For this reason, and in line with common practice among law firms, we do not participate in alternative consumer arbitration procedures.

This does not limit our commitment to resolving concerns professionally and transparently. Clients may, at all times, contact us directly to address any questions or issues regarding our services.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Information on formal dispute procedures.

›

All legal relationships and engagements are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Mandatory consumer protection or conflict-of-law rules remain unaffected.

Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany, where legally permissible.
